If you knew my husband ...

Because Raven is a completely awesome blogger and has super brilliant ideas, it's only natural that she decided to do one of the "If you really knew me" posts, but about her husband. So, borrowing from her genius, I'm doing the same today.  

  So ... If you really knew Ken ...   ... you'd know that he is super handy around the house. Changing the brakes on my car? Check. Installing a new kitchen? Check. Putting all of our movies on a hard drive so that I don't have to put the individual discs in? Check.   ... you'd know that he is a perfectionist.   ... you'd know that he is a quiet person. He doesn't say anything unless he has something meaningful to add to the conversation.   ... you'd know that when he met me, he was messed up from a previous relationship and that it took several months for me to "fix" him and get him to trust me.   ... you'd know that he loves all things Apple (as in the technology company, not the fruit).   ... you'd know that he is a cat whisperer. I have never seen a cat that didn't immediately warm up to him.   ... you'd know that he hates having his picture taken.   ... you'd know that he is very detail oriented, which is why I think he's so good at his job (IT).   ... you'd know that there are very few bargain hunters better than he is.   ... you'd know that he HATES being called Kenny, but that's what his family calls him (since he's a Jr)   ... you'd know that he doesn't play games with me because I'm a sore loser and he doesn't like to lose either. Honestly, it's better for our marriage this way.   ... you'd know that he doesn't really like Mexican, but he will go just to make me happy.   ... you'd know that his ideal meal would be ham with instant mashed potatoes (made with chicken broth) and cheesecake for dessert.    ... you'd know that he really is my other half. I honestly don't know what I'd do without him in my life.
