Just stopping in to apologize for not stopping in sooner. Haha.
Work has been INSANE. We are in the middle of developing a new product and it is not going smoothly. I've been putting in 60 hour weeks, some days starting at 4 or 4:30 AM and working 12 straight hours.
Hopefully next week will be back to semi-normal and I'll be back to my regular blogging after Thanksgiving ... after all, the most wonderful time of the year is coming up! :) Please bear with me. Miss y'all!

This may surprise many of you, but I do not regularly wear makeup. I'm sure I've mentioned it before on the blog, but there's a reason why I'm reminding you of this fact.
At the age of 29, I've decided that I would like to wear makeup more often and I'd like to learn what to wear and how to apply it.
This is where y'all come in. Below are two pictures of me, without makeup. Sorry for the dark, grainy iPhone selfies. As you can see, my skin is Casper white. I know it is next to impossible to see in these pictures, but I have baby blue eyes and my hair is dark brownish red (and I'm getting it re-colored on Thursday). If you are really serious about helping me, I can always send you better pictures or facetime, etc.
My goal: a quick and easy makeup routine to even out my skin tone and make my eyes pop.
The rules: Inexpensive. Easy to apply. Quick to apply. Works for sensitive skin.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to give me suggestions! Ready, set, go!

I saw an article this morning about a breastfeeding mom who was fined because she took her infant with her to jury duty. I may be about to ruffle some feathers, but here it goes:
- Yes, I believe breastfeeding to be an important part of raising a child.
- No, I do not believe someone should be able to "whip it out" wherever they are, with no cover, and start breastfeeding. First of all, its disrespectful to everyone else around you. Second of all, do you really want everyone to see everything? Find a secluded corner, cover yourself with a blanket or shawl, leave, etc. That is what I intend to do when the time comes.
